I first met the Jahanaths when I shot Subha’s wedding back in 2010 and then Sulo’s wedding in 2015. Even from the first wedding itself, I had already thought to myself “Gee, I wanna be adopted by this family”. So imagine how excited I felt when Sulo contacted me again when it was their baby brother Praveen’s turn to get married! Considering that I loved each wedding shoot that I had with this family, it was a definite yes on my side and a big honour to shoot Praveen and Jess’ wedding!
Had the opportunity to properly meet and chat with Praveen and Jess before their wedding day and I was absolutely in love! Such kind human beings and so genuine with their interactions, and they wanted me as their wedding photographer! Yes all those apostrophe marks are an obvious indication of how happy I was :p
The day of their temple ceremony at Sri Subramaniar temple came and whilst steeped with traditions, it felt light hearted as well cos the newlyweds were just grinning throughout the whole event. Here’s some of my favourite frames from the day 🙂
Oh Jess, you look absolutely gorgeous!
Love that look of excitement Praveen!
