I love it whenever couples back in Kota Kinabalu invite me over to shoot their wedding celebrations. Not only because it’s my hometown but also because it’s bound to be an absolutely fun wedding to shoot. Call me bias hehehe but I’d call it the hometown loyalty thing going on.
Michael and Marie’s wedding was no different! I didn’t actually get the opportunity to meet them prior to the day but I believe we got along like a forest on fire as the day progressed. Not only were these two super nice to work with, had an awesome support of family and friends who helped out with their wedding but they were also easy on the eyes 😉 As with weddings of doctors, I’m always tempted to run up on stage during the reception and go “Is there a doctor in the house?” but thankfully, I refrained from doing so during theirs.
Michael and Marie, I hope you both had fun looking back on the photos as much as I had fun capturing these memories. Here’s some of my favourite shot from the morning of the day at the Church of Mary Immaculate.
