Terence & Nicole’s Pre-Wedding Session

Terence and Nicole are getting married this coming weekend! Woot!

I’ll be heading back to KK again from Thursday onwards and I’ll be shooting their church ceremony as well as dinner reception :)

When I was back in KK last weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot their pre-wedding pictures a day before I headed back to KL. I didn’t know what to expect as I didn’t have much time to recce for new locations and I was a bit worried about the weather as well.

But I was absolutely blessed that day as the ‘normal’ locations we shot at turned out to be awesome and we had ridicilously beautiful weather throughout the session.

It was like somebody up there was thinking, “Ok its time to give Anna some lovin’ since she’s been working so hard lately”. Hehe…thank you, thank you :D

Ok enough of my jabbering on. Here are some of my favourite shots from that day :)

Nicole’s beautiful dress was made by her mother-in-law. Doesn’t she look gorgeous in it?

I love, love both their expression here. So happy!

Looks like a beautiful location doesn’t it? FYI, the grass was a minefield of cow dung and the smell wasn’t exactly potpourri ;p

At the start of our ‘wet and salty’ part of the session. Heheehee…

Terence and Nicole, I had tons of fun that day :) Thank you two for being so accommodating, for being gung-ho enough to get wet during the ‘wet and salty’ part of our session, for trusting me whenever I asked you guys to do ’stuff’. Hehehe…can’t wait to see ya both this weekend!

Beng Cheang & Chui Yans’s Pre-Wedding Session

Beng Cheang and Chui Yan will be getting married at the end of August and thanks to a referral from Tom, I had the pleasure of shooting their pre-wedding session for them last Friday.

We started off the session at Concorde Shah Alam and then headed off to the Rimba Kiara Park in TTDI. Despite the fact that I don’t always shoot bridal sessions, the session was the same as my other shoots - casual, relaxed and fun (dayum, I’m starting to sound like one of those bad, corny TV ads :p).

Here are some of my favourite shots from the day;

Chui Yan is gonna be an absolutely gorgeous bride :)

The following picture is my fave shot from the session :)

Beng Cheang and Chui Yan, hope you both enjoyed the session as much as I did. Have fun during your wedding day :) See ya soon!

My friends (and clients :D) Sim, See Ming and baby Max are coincidentally close friends of Beng Cheang and Chui Yan too. Talk about it being a small world eh? They dropped by to check out the shoot as well as practise shooting with their new Tamron lens. It was nice seeing you all again :D

Super Weekend!

Earlier today (well technically speaking yesterday), I had the pleasure of shooting a sporting couple’s pre-wedding session. They were up for every single thing I suggested, I likeeee! Hehehehe…

Am itching to share some of my favourite shots from the day - but guess what? I forgot to ask them about posting their pics up on my blog! Silly me.

They mentioned that they were planning to showcase the pics during their reception dinner end of next month so I might just wait till then to post the rest up, but in the meantime here’s a lil preview.

On a personal note, I’ve got such a packed weekend ahead that I’m feeling abit overwhelmed. 1 solemnisation ceremony and 1 couple portraiture session to shoot as well as 2 album layouts to finish off by Sunday. Ye gads!

Funny thing is, at the same time, I know it’ll be an absolute blast! Hehe…yes, I tend to contradict myself quite often.

Wokey, am off to catch some winks before I collapse from lack of sleep :p Toodle-loo!

Nathan & Theresa - Couple Portraiture

Nate & Terri, you are both absolutely awesome and I love the chemistry between the two of you. You sooo lied when you said that you can’t pose for the camera cos I reckon that you both sizzled things up quite a fair bit :)

Didn’t know whether or not I should post up the BJ pic cause well, not everyone’s as open as you are :p I’ll leave that for your personal enjoyment. Hehehe…

It was an absolute pleasure to hang out with you both and I am so looking forward to your wedding in July. Thanks for brunch btw and see you soon!

The following shot was taken at Ikea with a weekend crowd looking on. Nate & Terri were really accommodating even though they got some stares out of it. Hehe..thank you so much for just giving it a go. Love ya both for that :)

The picture below is my favourite shot from the session.

Not because I reckon the composition was special, it was just a straight forward shot but I love the fact that this was totally ‘un-posed’. Nate just gave Terri a kiss. Straight and simple. Awwww…young love.

Errr…I think I might have overstayed my welcome…. ;)

Click on the slideshow below to view more of my favourite pics from this session.

Btw, some might be wondering why are there so many similar shots (only with diff background) throughout this session. Well, there’s a reason for it and maybe I’ll tell you next time…..or maybe not ;p.

Have an awesome Sunday!
